Another round of mini-mockups and multiple choice questions awaits the first 5000 respondents. WordPress 2.7 UI Survey #2 is now available to take your opinions regarding:

Whm Cpanel Partition

We have a video sharing site growing rapidly..

1. We cache over flv files located in the “public_search/flv” directory

2. since were growing so quickly were indexing over “700-1,000″ flv files a day

3. each flv file is about 10mb and there is a total of 2,000.. Equals 20gb our hard drives are 200gb each.. with no temp files.

3. Problem: when the directory “public_search/flv” gets more than 1,998 files in the single directory, it will no longer allow any new files in that directory..

4. We thought it was the servers hard drive space but it happened on 3 other servers running cpanel, when 1,998 files were in a single directory..

Question: Is there a way to allow unlimited files in a single directory .. We need this badly???..
